     Effective Monday, June 1, 2020 and from here forward, please download and complete the marriage record application at pottercountypa.net (go to Departments, then Prothonotary/Clerk of Courts).


ONLINE PAYMENT FEE INCREASE NOTICE


Marriage Applications:  Both parties must complete the entire application prior to issuance of the marriage license (PLEASE NOTE:  The date of your most recent divorce or date of death of your former spouse IS REQUIRED).  You must also provide a good phone number.  Once the application is completed, you may drop it off at the Prothonotary/Clerk of Court’s Office or mail it to our office at 1 East Second Street, Room 23, Coudersport, PA 16915, along with a copy of both parties photo identification **PLEASE NOTE*** photo identification must be legible.

 

****PLEASE NOTE**** Both parties must appear in person and pay $50.00 cash for the issuance of the marriage license.  There is a 3-day waiting period so make sure you include the date of your ceremony on the application so that we can be sure the dates line up appropriately.
